Today I was at the Nevada State Museum and Historical Society doing some research. I went to the bathroom and on the way back to the research room I stopped at the gift shop. They had a 50% off table and one of the items was a ziplock full of old photos. It was marked $20, so it would have been $10, but the person working told me he'd take five dollars for it. I bought it for five bucks and scanned some of my favorites. There are about 40 pictures in it, I think they are mostly the same family. My guess is that someone donated a bunch of stuff and these didn't wind up in the archive since they are of no real historic importance. I like them and might frame one or two someday. This is one of my favorites.
There are more behind the cut.
